In the news

Liberal group spends millions on Colo. (Mentions CODA)

The Gay Mafia That's Redefining Liberal Politics (Mentions my brother Jon)

Sleazier and sleaziest (Mentions Timmy and I)

In response to the Rocky Mountain News piece, it's true our attack ad's have gotten vicious over the years.

So, what?

See this ad from 2006, do pay attention to the hand written notes.

Look how far we have come, but we had tons of planning

Two years ago, Al Yates and I plotted this (read below) and now look what we have built now, a successful progressive machine, mmmuuuaaahhh. Great notes below, a closer look at us.

Board Meeting Minutes
October 3, 2006
Boulder
Noon to 3:00 PM

Update of activity

1. Alicia Haywood introduced as the person to step in for Courtney during maternity leave.
2. Discussion of SOS’s decision not to seek a writ of certiorari on Monday, October 2nd
3. Discussion of funding recommendations:
• The goal for the senate is to have 21:14 seats.
• There are four seats that can probably be picked up.
• At this time the house is more vulnerable than the senate. The rumor was the new focus on the house campaigns in terms of funding.
• There are 17 targeted campaigns, 11 protects and six pick-ups.
• In terms of funding levels, the house budget may be off, but the senate is on track.
• The current attacks on Ritter’s record as D.A. has caused a shift in the momentum of Ritter’s campaign and led to shifts in funding priorities.
• The new ads are aggressive Both Ways Bob themed ads.
• The strategy group met Tuesday, October 3 in the morning and New West proposed two strategies to wine. The first strategy left New West with a $92,000 shortfall and the second strategy would cause a $340,000 shortfall.
• New West and the House have the biggest holes right now in terms of funding. 527 money is needed for these groups.

Status of 2006 goals

1. It is generally considered safe to keep the majority in the senate. There is more tension about the house, but the chances are good to retain the majority.
2. The newspaper endorsements for Ritter are good news, but we must pull back and realize this is still a race; we cannot take this position for granted.
3. Race updates:
• CD3 is good. It is not necessary at this time to play.
• CD4 Paccione is working hard. She has a liberal label in a conservative district. Musgrave’s negatives are high (about 50%) and the independent runner is getting the crossover Republications. There will be broadcast TV up and running on Monday.
• CD5 Fawcett has a good profile. The registration in the district is 2:1 R. vs. Dem. A group called Republicans for Fawcett has been formed. Maybe an unholy alliance could be formed with the Rs.
• CD7 Pearlmutter looks good. He is the 2nd race in the country for DCCC; they went broadcast this week.
4. Where is the Colorado Conservation Fund in terms of funding (See e-mail sent 10.5.2006 from Alicia Haywood for this update)?
5. We need answers to where each group is in terms of funding (Look for this information via e-mail very soon).

Infrastructure update

1. Introduction:
• Right now the focus is narrow due to the election, but there needs to be a continuing effort to develop the infrastructure.
Colorado needs 10-12 long terms organizations like Progress now and the Bell Policy Center to fund research, reach voters, media and the people of Colorado with the progressive message.
• What groups are there long term and how can they be helped?
2. The infrastructure committee wants to hire a consultant for two mapping jobs between the C4 (funded with non-charitable dollars) and C3 (funded with charitable dollars) groups. Ideally, the consultant can legally give coordinated results, but some legal review is necessary.
3. Discussion of the consultant:
• Maeghan Collins is beginning the process of a search for a consultant. There was a discussion of names; any suggestions or input would be helpful.
• The person should have extensive political knowledge of C3, C4, and 527 roles.
• The consultant would come with a bias. It would be impossible to avoid this. The in-state candidate would have helpful prior knowledge of the landscape, but may come with additional bias.
4. What are the next steps?
i. First RFPs are needed for C3 and C4.
ii. They will be sent to 5-6 carefully selected candidates.
iii. It was again discussed that legal review is necessary as the coordination is sensitive.
5. It is important to give the advisory committee the option to get involved by asking for suggestions.
6. Does this group have the right structure of the board to make this venture?
• Should it be everyone or three committee members?
• Tom Congdon and Al Yates will be part of the group.
• Significant attention will be paid to this matter after the election.
7. The next steps are determined to be as follows:
i. Start with Mark Gureskin
ii. Create process to provide oversight
iii. Create timetable

Membership development

1. Discussion of next meeting date and recruiting event:
• We want to create an opportunity to bring members and potential members together (after the election) for fellowship and recruitment.
• It was decided to have a celebration and move forward party to provide the opportunity to envision the Colorado movement. The organization needs to cement its foundation in order to move ahead.
• The next board meeting will be December 5 and it will include the fellowship event.
• The next meeting will devote attention to the future of the organization with an emphasis on recruitment. More details soon…..
2. We also want an election night celebration. We will find out where the Dems are celebrating on election night and coordinate with them.

Recognition of CoDA’s efforts
• A lot of attention is being paid to what Colorado has been doing. It is commendable.

What took you so long CO Media Matters?

You would think that CO Media Matters, the group Democracy Alliance funnels money to, would have had our backs earlier. Usually they are on point but they are slacking these day.

Why?

Maybe they are flabbergasted.

The "educate the idiots" story broke on Oct 1st and it has taken them 14 days to address the lefty billionaire vast-wing conspiracy. They posted their response on Wed, Oct 15, 2008 6:17pm MST.

Is it possible that they are losing their touch? Or that the story is SO real and hard hitting at home (because it mentions them) that it took our nemesis John Andrews to say something to spark a reaction.

I'll leave you to ponder.

Nevertheless, read their incoherent babble nonsense.

What a web we weave...

I apologize for not blogging lately but this ACORN thing (see the video) and my sinuses are killing me.

I'll make this quick, so how big is this alliance of ours?

This is a sample of our Progress Now inner circle. I must admit, we do too have a vast-wing conspiracy group and here it is. Can we say shady?

Note: Jared Polis is not really a progressive like us, he is a level-headed moderate. Ultimately we ousted him from our inner circle. If you notice he is never listed on the educate the idiots document. We gladly take his money but never really include him on anything.

Toodles...
Pat

Buying media off?

Yesterday, the I posted the Westword's piece online about us, Colorado Democracy Alliance.

The piece by Michael Roberts suggest that media bias doesn't exist. Believe what you want.

However, Mr. Roberts didn't dig deep enough.

The documents were first circulated to Art Cain, investigative reporter at Channel 7. When he saw this stuff his eyes balls jumped out. He even interviewed the source, Issac Smith. After interviewing Issac, he took the documents to Common Cause, Amendment 41 folks. And guess who works their, out attorney, Marky Mark.

You can imagine what happened next, "you run this and I'll run you out of town."

Then, Lynn Bartles. The Rocky didn't run the story due to "lack of resources." Whatever that means...(getting sued?)

Finally, the Denver Post. Jessica Fender was the last one to receive the documents and she loved it. Thrilled to write the story but her editor not so much. Could it be that former Post employee,
Evan Dreyer, who now is Ritter's campaign manager, had something to do with the delay of the story?

We at the Colorado Democracy Alliance try to control the message in mainstream media and at times we are successful. But in this case we have been burned.

That's why we decide to fund groups like:
CO Independent
CO Media Matters
Progress Now

Because they will keep selling our message and the most ingenious part of this is that it helps our search engine optimization.

What's search engine optimization, say you?

The more specific keywords on the internet the higher the keyword ranking on Google results. Think of it as them boosting our Google power, meaning you can find the progressive side easier on your Google search.

Don't believe me? Read this other internal memo that shows our funding infrastructure for media. (Click on the images)

Did you miss the Caldara radio interview about my friends and I?

Don't fret....

You can listen to the radio interview, here.

xoxo

Pat

On the Mike Rosen Show today!

My sources inform me that the whistle blower will be on the Mike Rosen show today. Except its not really Mike Rosen but Jon Caldara, figures the right-wing conspiracy at it's best.

Most of the interview will address the Westword's article on the Idiots, meaning us - Colorado Democracy Alliance.

Read the article. After I hear the interview, I will post more of my thoughts.

Listen Live!

Whose watching who

By now you know that I am not really Pat Stryker, nor Al Yates, or any member of Democracy Alliance.

However, it seems this little ole blog has attracted the attention of the authors I pretend to be.

whois 216.17.154.131
Front Range Internet Inc. NET-FRII-1 (NET-216-17-128-0-1)
216.17.128.0 - 216.17.255.255
Bohemian Companies NET-BCT1-01 (NET-216-17-154-128-1)
216.17.154.128 - 216.17.154.159

You see, someone from Pat Stryker's company, Bohemian Companies, visited the educate the idiots blog. In addition, it also so happens that Front Range Internet may be her internet provider due to the IP address.

So, Who is Pat Stryker?

According to Colorado Biz:
In January 2004, ColoradoBiz named Pat Stryker the state's most powerful person because she was using her wealth "to influence how Coloradans live, and more so than anyone else on the list." Striker has continued to do just that. She was one of the "Gang of Four" wealthy Democrats who plowed enough money into state legislative races at the end of that same year to turn around the majority in the General Assembly.

At the end of 2005, she joined the same partners in an effort to fund the successful Referendum C campaign that broke a $3.7 billion lock on state spending created by TABOR, the Tax Payer's Bill of Rights. According to Al Yates, former president of Colorado State University, who acts as a spokesman for Stryker, she now considers herself a philanthropist, activist and business woman, whose set of Fort Collins companies, the Bohemian Cos., and her foundation, work toward improving the quality of life all Coloradans experience.

She remains listed on the Forbes 400 as the state's fourth richest resident, with a fortune of $1.7 billion. Although Phil Anschutz passed Stryker up in this year's ColoradoBiz list of Most Powerful, mostly by dint of some extraordinary power-returns on his most recent investments, Stryker's continued involvement in activities that have a lasting effect on the state keeps her well positioned near the top of this list.

He said, she said story on the Denver Post

The Denver Post found the leaker of the documents - Isaac Smith, an engineer who works at an energy company. I have never heard of this fellow who interned at BigHorn but I am glad he came forward because someone else besides me needed to show how shady we are at CO Democracy Alliance.

This story isn't that exciting - its very, he said, she said - so let's move to where the real story is at: Sunday's paper, Progressive gang uses non profits to push politics.

Remember how I earlier said that the Sunday paper would show a side-by-side comparison of the "stolen" document v non-stolen, undated document, well it never ran. Was it that Mark read the blog and realized, maybe Pat is right - let's not keep lying?

Nevertheless, I praise Ms. Fender for articulating how well the progressive infrastructure has been built in CO.

While everyone in CO Democracy Alliance declined to comment, I wanted to share my thoughts with Ms. Fender, however the gang wouldn't let me talk, that's why I started this blog.
"Yates, who represents Stryker, declined to comment. Denver lawyer Ted Trimpa, a representative for Gill, did not return multiple phone calls."
What the article doesn't drive home are the following:

- CODA's office where at BigHorn Center, where we never paid rent. We never paid for our shared office space and I haven't been able to locate in Big Horn's 990 form their in-kind donation for the office space, if there was even one.

- Read the document below and read our funding recommendations for 527s and c3s. Now, removing the "educate the idiots" document you can still see that we were coordinating heavily among our allies. I think this makes us the new, progressive-left wing conspiracy.

- Finally, beyond the papers, Ms. Fender doesn't have the day-to-day operations that are more remarkable. At times House Speaker Andrew Ramnoff would visit the office, pick up a check and deposit it later for his House 527 group. What's wrong with this?

During 2006, Speaker Ramnoff was running his re-election campaign and neither him nor his campaign could coordinate with the House 527, i-l-l-e-g-a-l. Do you see why he needed to be covert?

While, its too late to take actions against Ramnoff and the rest of us. Coloradans should be weary, trust no political ad, no CO media matters e-alert, no Colorado Confidential blog post, etc. Do your own independent research prior to voting this November.

(Disclaimer: I should let you know, I helped start Democracy Alliance national with George Soros. Read Capital Research study on us. )

Rasm v UNLV

Gameday in Fort Collins!

We better win this game since in 2004 I gave CSU $20 million for their football program.

I really did this for Al not the football team.

Go Rams!

I can't fall asleep, my thoughts

I can’t fall asleep. I am worried about our current situation forgery document v so-called non-forged, undated document.

Yikes.

The interesting thing about this debacle is that if the document is a fake it still doesn’t deny that meetings occurred among us. It still shows a critical point 527s, c3, and c4 should not be coordinating efforts together. It’s illegal.

Click on the image to see meeting minutes of the Thursday’s Election Protection meeting, where Mark was present.

So in a way, whatever Mark produces to the Denver Post, we are still screwed.

Most of you may be asking what is Marks background on all this besides being an attorney. Well, he is part of the Colorado Democracy Alliance infrastructure.

In 2004, he helped start Fair Vote Colorado a project of the defunct think tank, Bighorn Center run by my good geologist whiz, Rutt Bridges.

Marks intentions for Fair Vote were the following (excerpt from a Rocky Mountain News article published on Oct 26, 2004)

"We're working right through Election Day to make sure everyone legally registered to vote has their ballot counted," Mark Grueskin, 50, said.

He is an old hand at such matters, having been among the squad of attorneys who oversaw the recount of the Bob Beauprez-Mike Feeley 7th Congressional District race two years ago.

With the Florida 2000 fiasco still looming large and the huge influx of newly registered voters in Colorado this time out, he says the participation of attorneys in the next three weeks is crucial.

"There are new federal voting laws, new state laws, confusion at the secretary of state level, and we are still awaiting clarity from the court on the issue of identification and provisional ballots, so our hope is to supply our expertise to elections officials," he said.

His sole goal has nothing to with either party, Mark Grueskin said. It is simply uniform treatment of voters. If it is an issue of ID, a provisional or absentee ballot question or someone's name not appearing on the rolls, he and other lawyers want to help get votes cast and counted.

"If we can learn about issues early on Election Day, we want to get them corrected quickly," he said.

He figures the job will be complicated by the uncertainty still surrounding voting rules in the state, and the manner in which they are interpreted by workers at the precinct level.

"We're looking for clarity and uniformity," he said. "If everyone who is entitled to vote does so, we will have done our job."

His firm is one of six that have signed up with nonpartisan fairvotecolorado.org. And "another firm called today with a list of lawyers who are willing to monitor the election in Colorado," spokesman Mark Eddy said.
If Marks goal had nothing to do with either party, why is that in the attendance of his meeting minutes there aren’t center-right folks. Makes you wonder, huh.

CO Democracy Alliance in the Denver Post (Jessica Fender)

It's Friday.

Friday's are always good days. They are even better when you get the last word at the end of the news cycle.

Our attorney Mark Grueskin has defended us by saying the educate the idiots memo is a forgery. He is bringing his own document to prove that the document shown was based on another document. Watch for Sunday's follow-up article where Jessica Fender will do a comparison of both documents.

Here's what I have to say to this, the document Mark is bringing is also a fake!

Jesus, this lie is getting bigger and bigger.

You see, several mainstream media sources have had the documents since the beginning of the year. The Rocky Mountain News at one point was going to write a story, they interviewed people and asked them, have you ever seen this document? Obviously we all wet our pants and said, Hell No!

The answer wasn't no and this is a fake and we can prove it because its based on this document. But no, that wasn't the answer we gave. Why didn't we say this from the beginning? (Makes you think, huh.)

Well, Mark and the rest of us have had the time to create a document because we knew the right-wing conspiracy was going to do something with it, so we planned our defense. Make an "authentic" document. Brilliant! I love it.

So kids, this is a lesson of how government and media works. Isn't lovely?

I am glad I don't work and just spend my inheritance money. It feels so good.

Update: My collegues released this statement

The Colorado Democracy Alliance has issued the following statement:

"Whoever provided the documents to Face The State has forged, altered and falsified critical material. The Colorado Democracy Alliance would never have used such offensive language to describe the work of labor unions or the progressive community."

Guys, the gig is up, we were busted. Let's come clean before it gets worse.

XOXO

Pat

Ben Smith with Politico talks about the Alliance

It's the end of the work day and many have blogged about us. To be exact 186 blog post mention our strategy take over CO by calling/targeting IDIOTS aka minorities.

Ben Smith with Politico is the only main stream media writer to write about the memo.

While this document has been questioned for it's authenticity, I am going to drop another bomb that proves that these documents are real and Brad Jones is on point.

That's right we at the Alliance have been jeopardized by this so we have nothing else to lose.

My brother, Jon Styrker, and Al Yates, former President of CSU and member of Level 3 Communications, broke the law. In mid-2006 they didn't file a 527 financial report because they did not want to reveal who the donors were.

Don't believe me, check this email out:

We made it on Drudge!

So, our 2006 secrets have been exposed on Drudge by Brad Jones from Face the State.

See it for yourselves....

In '06 we came up with this internal slogan called "Educate the Idiots", where we wanted to win the Colorado minimum wage ballot measure and turn the state from red to purple.

So,who are these idiots? Minorities, people with GED's, high school drop outs. These people are undereducated and well simply put IDIOTS, so it was ingenious to target them and have them fall for our tricks and lies.

Read this post explaining our strategy.

But who was part of our strategy? Everyone. From politicos to union members to lobbyists to consultants. Here is the list. You should note Obama's current statewide coordinator, Ray Rivera, was involved in this shady campaign and former President of Colorado State University, Al Yates, who is black. Why is he hating on his own people? Minorities!

Hopefully, my mate, Senator Obama, won't be impacted by this being online.

Click on the images to see them bigger.

In retrospect, we didn't act so covertly - read the bottom of 2nd page - because this should have never gotten out. But we had Domnic Del Papa on board, so I should have known better his stuff always gets leaked out.

This document was written by an intern, Alicia Haywood. Stupid, Stupid, never trust interns to take notes at meetings.
